Namangan State Medical University also known as Namangan State University Faculty of Medicine locally is a cornerstone of medical education in Uzbekistan, also renowned for its rigorous academic programs, cutting-edge research, and commitment to producing highly skilled healthcare professionals. Furthermore established as part of Namangan State University (NamSU), which has grown significantly since its founding in 1942. Besides that Namangan State Medical University was developed to address the critical need for qualified medical practitioners in the Fergana Valley and beyond. Moreover the faculty offers a comprehensive range of programs, including a six-year Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree, specialized training in Pediatrics, Medical Prevention and Public Health as well as Nursing and Midwifery.

Besides this the MD program or MBBS in India, the flagship offering, covers important foundational medical sciences such as anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry, as well as clinical disciplines like internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, and obstetrics and gynecology, ensuring graduates are well-prepared for the demands of modern healthcare.  In addition to this NamSU has 600 teaching staff which 46% of them have PhD and doctoral levels degrees.
